Although the title of this fictional book is a little shocking, it is definitely a great book! The main character, Ruby, is a mother raising her daughter,Lark, as a single parent. Then, a shocking piece of truth that she didn't know in the riddle of her own past makes itself known. Ruby ultimately comes face to face with more "What if's?" than any mother should have to imagine. She then has to make a decision more difficult than you can imagine. I would definitely recommend this book, it is a page turner and you feel connected to the characters from page one.
